Fear and Loathing in the Magic Kingdom, or something. First Dennis Miller to "Monday Night Football" and now Hunter Thompson and ESPN. When the going gets wierd...
ESPN.com's Page 2 section will be launched as a place to post sports opinions from the literate.
Isn't "sports opinions from the literate" an oxymoron?
The guy they quote at the end of the article says it all: "Even if it is sports, it will probably be interesting." In other words, sports are inherently of no interest, but it might be interesting to read Thompson rant for a while. I must concur.

It's not like ol' Doc Thompson doesn't know anything about football, either. He rants about it all the time in Shark Hunt.
