So if I understand this correctly, some geeks play an online game feverishly, and the developers reward this by letting Darth Vader pay them a visit. This must be the geekiest thing I've ever seen. Some are actually in awe.

Amazingly, my first thoughts were very similar, Clay201. I quickly realized it wasn't along those lines when it only showed up as having one comment. I'm sure if it had been political in origin with that headline it would have already had 60 by then.

Had I been one of the stormtroopers, I would have been in awe too. I don't play MMOGs much but SWG is next on my gaming to-do list. I think it's kind of cool when developers take a strong interest in what is going on in their game world and choose to interact: game development of a very different sort.

That was way cool. I don't play that particular MMORPG, but that almost makes me want to try it. Now if only we could get Vader to come boost morale in the Under City or Orgrimmar...
