Thanks etaoin, I used to read the Language Miniatures all the time and rediscovering it makes me feel all fuzzy inside. :)
I never knew he used to teach Dutch btw, but I do remember his Miniature about Dutch cursing with diseases.

The ACES site is truly a Best of the Web! I've used Purdue's OWL for years (as do many composition teachers & WPAs); in fact, most university writing centers link to Purdue's OWL rather than reinventing the wheel. Could it be designed better--of course. Does it deliver quite a bit of valuable help--absolutely. Thanks for posting.
