Czech and Armenian lacework [big PDFs]. From an amazing Digital Archive of books about lace, weaving, and textiles.

Wonder why it's housed at the site for the University of Arizona's Computer Sci Dept. (I guess because of the fact that programming jacquard looms was a precursor to computer programming...?)

Wow! Just gorgeous. I'm looking at the Czech work. I never knew that lacework could be as representational as some of that is. Fabulous post.

I think lace is pretty.
Those are some awesome lacy paterns.
I've been trying to use some lacy paterns in my latest tilework..
