The Ballad of a Feller Named Oscar Wilde ( -mp3 link-, 5.13mb )
Found from the homepage of Joe. R. Lansdale, Champion Mojo Storyteller of Nagadoches, Texas (author of the story upon which Bubba Ho-Tep was based) and is, apparently, based on an actual event. Linked here because, well, because honestly we could all use a little more Dr. Demento in our lives.

Wow, who would have thought there were two songs about Oscar Wilde in the old west in the world?
Music's kind of lacking in yours fatllama, but the jokes are pretty good. "Trouble is like toothpaste: it starts with a 'T', ends with an 'E', and if you look around long enough you can usually find some in the bathroom."

Well it's a funny song but incorrect, he wasn't from London or British. He was IRISH.
Wilde was born at 21 Westland Row, Dublin, to Sir William Wilde and his wife Jane, herself a successful writer and an Irish nationalist.
It may have been their language but we did more with it.
