This is hilarious. I think what did it for me were the little tasks. After reading the librarian encounter I laughed so loud that my was startled awake and appears to have dedicated the remainder of her life to glaring at me.

son of a bitch. Yes, cat. I don't know how that word managed to jump ship. Fortunately for me her grudges are outweighed by her inablity to stay awake while sitting still for more than ten minutes.

Prior to my first glace I thought this was just some wannabe doing a thing to get, you know, some attention. Having read the first few paragraphs of the Nov 23, 2005 entry I am convinced that a weblog is not enough, and that the author should be given several million dollars to make a documentary film.

nobody should get several million dollars to make a documentary. with today's hi-def video equipment you barely need a few thousand dollars. however you should have a lot of time on your hands.

What? You can't fake a war or a moon landing on that sort of money? Wise up.

In fact, if you take out the fixed cost of my G5, i made this documentary for under $250:

It's not perfect, but it's not half bad either. Played at One Reel in Seattle, in Austin and recently aired on KCTS (local PBS affiliate).

Today write a letter to a dictator to stop torture.
Dear Vice President Cheney,
Just who are you trying to fool? If you are pro-torture and inhumane treatment of prisoners, just say so. Don't be That Guy. Nobody likes That Guy.
Sincerely,
MDC
