rycee, Hadn't looked at that one before, thanks. I've always liked sun dappled surfaces and it was stimulating to examine them scientifically. At the bottom of his page I noticed another excellent kid science link, Exploratorium. The kid science sites tend to have fun visuals and make difficult to understand concepts easier, I really enjoy them.

Oh, nice! I hadn't yet seen all of those. Not all of them are necessarily for kids, though.

easternblot, You're right, the last link mixed kids' sites with fun/quirky university ones and adult ones.
