Vader Sessions Don't be a hater. Heeere's Vader (YouTube)
I don't get the whole Star Wars fan thing... Star Trek was so much more cool. Though Star Wars Gangsta Rap ruled.

rolypoly's flamebait is ignored!
neat concept, and lot's of work, but it didn't seem to hold together for me.
A little random with the clips they shove into Vader's mouth.
and how'd they avoid the 'Welcome to Verizon' soundbite as the star destroyer approached the death star?
does it get better in future episodes?

I laughed more than I thought I would . . . toward the end, when Vader chases the X Wings with the two pilots in black (as opposed to all the white storm troopers) he talks about "more black representation". It just killed me.

I thought it was awesome. The surreality of the comments was what did it for me. The way he talks to Tarkin about kissing a woman while Tarkin gives him that icy stare... it's like some sort of bad-boss-office-comedy.

Actually, it seems like the creator mined quotes from other of James Earl movies for the alternative dialogue. At the very beginning, when he's offering one million, two million, American dollars, thats straight from Coming to America, when Earl is playing the King of an African nation and offering to bribe Eddie Murphy's love interest's father to end the relationship. And later, twice, two different quotes from Field of Dreams are used, from the baseball quote to the "I want to be left alone" part.
On the whole, I found it rather amusing. Then again, I was once an intense Star Wars geek.

p.s. I think one of the best parts where they made Vader working his targeting computer into Vader changing channels on his radio in his TIE Advanced.

Jesus fuckin' duh on a popsicle stick. That was the whole point of the thing, Mr Insightful. It was recycled James Earl dialogue from other movies.
Christ. Where the fuck are we getting these people.
Anyway, the mashup was funny, and way more amusing than the animutationy thing that loquacious linked, in my humble. But these things are completely subjective, and so it goes.

I think the idea of getting old quotes from some of James Earl Jones other movies and incorporating them into Star Wars is inspired parody. However, they needed to expand their research to include Lion King and several other films of his to find the best punchlines for each SW moment. They didn't mine this for all it was worth. There should be a laugh every few seconds when at best there's maybe one a half minute on average. That's the problem with the Juggernaut Bitch sendup. It's a funny idea, but after about 30 seconds it gets old. If you don't keep with the funny, it just devolves into performance art.

Stavrosthewonderbird, since your reading comprehension doesn't seem to be as high powered as your snarkability, I was refuting an earlier post with that comment. I suppose if I start dropping swear words in my post, I'll become more socially acceptable or something.

I was amused, but I agree with there being lots of other James Earl Jones movie quotes that would have moved this from amusing to hilarious. I can think of several scenes in Lion King rife with potential.
Ah well. I'll toss my own personal favorite Vader/Emperor parody: "What the hell is an aluminum falcon?"

It was a little too long, but there were some great moments. Vader pontificating on baseball ("it reminds us of all that is good") and shooting down rebel fighters to the strains of Piano Man were some personal favorites. But I almost always laugh at Billy Joel references, so what do I know.
