Norm MacDonald on Conan

Norm MacDonald on Conan - part 2 - part 3. From sometime around 1997 I think, he was sick with flu like symptoms at the time. Also Norm MacDonald on the Daily Show shortly after the death of Steve Irwin.
GBTGBS.

The Crocodile Hunter one is really funny...especially with Jon Stewart pleading with Norm not to make him laugh about it. (of course, my favourite Norm is "I thought you were gonna use milk, not CRAP!")

I've seen that Daily Show clip dozens of times before but it still reduces me to hysterics. "It was a tragedy... at the time".

That's right up there with Quentin Tarantino's drunken appearance on the Tonight Show.

This, I must see. Can't find it on YouTube or GVideo. Anyone got a link?

He's Canadian, you know?
How many Canadians does it take to change a lightbulb? Two. One to do the work, and one to say 'He's Canadian, you know?"

Norm MacDonald just does not give a shit.
If it's an act, it's a damn convincing one.

Norm McDonald is one of the vastly underrated talents in my opinion. His style is not for everyone, but when he's on... like he was in the Daily Show clip, it is truly hard to find anything funnier.
"People were calling me, shocked. Hey, you won't believe who got killed. The CROCODILE HUNTER".
His petty fued with NBC took his career back 20 years. If not for that, I think he would be in the 6th season of a moderately successful sitcom by now.

Just finished the 3rd Conan clip, and that's what late night television USED to be all about. There's a reason being on Tonight used to be the pinnacle of someone's career. Imagine that, but about 2 times a week, and you have the classic Carson era. Carson had the ability to make stars literally overnight.
Norm, you slay me.

Oh, by the way ... Even though Norm's hysterical "A Minute With Stan Hooper" is not offered on DVD and probably won't be for YEARS, it would be wrong to download that complete mega-package from bittorent. You'll just have to wait.

YouTube took them down due to copyright violation. Anybody have an alternative link? I'd like to see the Conan ones.

MoFCKR! I was just going back to download those. ARGH. Of course this would have destroyed the franchise. SNL brought down by my being able to snicker over NM's state on Letterman every now and again.
