Libertarian Chief Wana Dubie runs for office

Chief Wana Dubie is the Libertarian candidate for State Representative in Missouri's 150th District.
He has a marijuana leaf tattooed on his forehead and once painted bullseye on his roof so the 'government could find him.' After a 5-year sentence for growing marijuana, he's running for office and with hopes for a 2008 bid for governor: Dubie vs. Blunt.
In other news, Crist leads strong Florida GOP ticket.

Yeah, but does he have his own song? Lyrics.
"Hey, what rhymes with ephemeral?"

I wondered what MeatBomb would do to keep himself occupied, what with all the timeouts. Thanks for the update!

This guy is actually in my district. When I saw his name on the ballot this morning, my jaw dropped. This is a gun-totin', bible-holdin' redneck part of rural Missouri, and it's refreshing to see a new face (no matter how strange it might look).

As a Libertarian I have to wonder why so many candidates from my party look like novelty acts. My willingness to vote for somebody ends where wackiness begins.

jet_silver-- I think it's because Libertarianism only makes sense to small children and obsessive compulsives. Every now and again someone wacky sneaks in.

Right on jet_silver. It is not without good reason that sane people look at me strangely when I tell them I vote Libertarian.
But then I look at who the Democrats are offering up on the ballot and the freak Libertarian suddenly doesn't look so freakish.
