Wow. I thought that clip was lost in the MTV vaults for all time.
These guys look like they were in a Foreigner cover band before they bought "new wave" shirts.
Then there's that insipid song...

As soon as I read the words on the front page, my first reaction was "Arf arf arf arf! Nobody knows who you are!" Man, that takes me back to a time best left forgotten.

That was almost my exact reaction to it.
Mine too. Except it was more:
uh....
uh....
and then a final ohhhhhhh...
when everything fell into place.

Mr. Lucinda has been obsessed with this song for years. He found the video on YouTube a few weeks ago and became a happy man. I just nodded and smiled.

"Are these the same guys that did Fish Heads?"
Nope. 'Fish Heads' ("eat them up, yum!") was from Barnes and Barnes. B&B featured Bill Mumy, who played Will Robinson on TV's Lost in Space.

Time for me to save this sorry excuse of a YouTubefilter thread with some true MTV classics:
Pancreas Joe & the Eskimos: "$30 Guitar"
Landscape: "My Name is Norman Bates"
Temple Tudor: "Wunderbar"
Utopia: "Feet Don't Fail Me Now"
Weird Al: "Dare to be Stupid"
Lene Lovich: "It's You"
Blotto: "you Can't Fire Me, I Quit"
Blotto: "Metal Head"
and yes, Barnes & Barnes: "Fish Heads"

This is clearly in reference to Reagan and his 'states rights' comment given at county fair in Philli. I only wish I'd seen this new information in time to do something.

Does anyone remember a group called 'blood sweat and gears(?)'. I remember really liking a song of theirs when I was young and impressionable listening to Doctor Demento in the 80's. That's when I first heard Barnes and Barnes. I'm not really sure I'm ready for this...
