What I don't get is she was strung out on crack, and losing her balance in a subway somewhere... Why the hell is an exercise instruction video stuck in her brain? Since aldurtregi and einarorn are letting the side down, I suppose it falls to me to post some Icelandic hip hop videos. First of all, here's XXX Rottweiler [NOT BESTIALITY] with their songs Sönn íslensk sakamál [True Icelandic Crime] and Havana Club. Oh, both vids are NSFW. Bent & 7berg's Hér kemur flugvélin [Here Comes the Airplane]. Two clips from Forgotten Lores, Sprettur [A Sprint] and Þegar ég sé mic [When I See a Mic ... oh, and it's a live clip with grainy, poor quality]. And finally, here's a video made from scenes from samurai movies to a song called Getto Fab by Bæjarins Bestu, a hip hop crew featuring the grandson of novelist Halldór Laxness, a Nobel Laureate. The rapper grandson goes by the moniker Dóri DNA.
Unfortunately, my two favorite crews, Afkvæmi guðanna and Fræ, don't have videos online, but I guess you can't have everything. Well, that's not quite true, there are a couple of cell phone videos of Fræ in action up on YouTube, but they're of extremely low quality and very short.

Bonus: They have a flash-based game on their web page, where you can construct your own German rap with samples from the Texta himself

Wait till it's done loading and click "weiter" in the red message box, now you can drag words and letter onto the ticker tape at the bottom and let it be spoken to a beat by pressing play on the tape recorder thing. You can send that mix to someone by pressing the record button and entering an email address).
