Use everyone's logic and vocabulary skills to figure out what the secret word is.
Wow, it goes by so fast. I made one decent guess and then by the time I refreshed it, two more games had gone by!

Yeah, same here. No chance to figure it out if the word changes while you're working it out

I actually dig the group "Mastermind" aspect, but I wish it was in realtime so I could see if I should give up and move on or keep plugging away. Neat idea, though.

Rather, I wish it updated visually in realtime without having to hit refresh.

This goes insanely fast. In order to get into the game, you have to type in guesses without reading previous entries-- let alone use any logic. I reloaded constantly (without even bothering to take the time to type in guesses) for about 5 minutes and most of the time the game was solved by the time I reloaded twice. After I got into the rythym of the game, I generally got about 2 guesses per round.

I had to play about five minutes or so until I won one, then I retired as champion.

With about 5 guesses every second, it gets to be pretty pointless. By the time you work through the previous guesses, the game you're on is already over and another one started. Maybe if it ran multiple games at the same time and limited the number of players per game this would be better.

Am I missing some "letter of the day" theme, or is it just random that a majority of the answers start with the letter C?
If that's the case, Justinian, might take a while for "quotidian" to come up - but hey, fight the good fight, man.

Or maybe I'm just seeing what I want to see, like I do with everything else on the internet.
"Hey, look at that! The NYTimes just reported Barry Bonds' sudden retirement one homerun short of Hank Aaron's record. Who says they never cover good news?"

Great idea, scrolls too fast. I'm sticking with WEBoggle where you get a decent shot before time's up.

Got one. "...Took 46 tries before 'open' was guessed by louise"
It does help to glance at the right-hand column for common letters and letter placement ideas, but yeah, you can only glance, otherwise the game'll be over before you get your guess in.

This is a multi-player version of the word game "jotto" - google it to find single-player versions. The interface of this version is nice but I agree it's too fast as is.
