No kidding, MJJ, As a Boston-area resident I could barely resist the urge to hysterically machine-gun my computer screen to protect myself from the terror hat.

Every time I see toddlers with pressure-activated LEDs in their little sneakers, I wistfully fantasize anew that those funky ol' disco shoes were available in 11 1/2 Wide.

at an estimated price of 10-20 thousand dollars per unit, I don't think we're going to see these wandering Logan airport anytime, soon.

We should really just be putting LEDs in everything we can. Imagine a jacket with a huge grid of those on the back. You'd be a walking animated lite brite.

Yikes. You can get some LED interesting apparel at much better rates. These aren't specifically LED, but they are rather fetching luminescents.

Well that certainly makes a better New Year's Eve party hat than those dumb plastic ones. Although you might not want to drink beer out of this one.

Not so much off topic as a cautionary tale. If you take to wearin' a hat like that, someone's gonna be gettin' some OPP and that OP is gonna be YOU!
