984! I'm some kind of superdog. OK enough of this (where by 'this' I mean posting ever-higher scores and depressing the lot of you :).

Or hate you. One of those things. My employer hates you, that's for sure.

I like the feature where you see how many points a certain move will earn!

Prototype and Scriptaculous are the bomb. If you're not using them yet in all your sites, you should be.
(YUI, on the other hand, I hate. Though I admit that may be more about the developers I was working with on those sites, than the framework itself.)

wow, you guys are incredible. I can't ever get the scores you do but I like this little game as an alternative to Solitaire.

The trick is to plan ahead for the endgame. Each move earns you points equivalent to the (mathematical) square of the number of (colored) squares that disappear with that move. So it's best to sacrifice small groups at the beginning if it means you'll be able to remove groups of twenty-five adjacent squares at the end. (The score is dependent on the random distribution, of course--I haven't come close to hitting my high score again.)

1523. I kid you not.
Somehow I wound up with a single move worth over 1,100.

3439 and counting. I kid you not.
Turns out if you click repeatedly, it will give you points for every click, and then drop the blocks right through the floor. Oops.
