Very pretty. They do definitely look like multi-exposure mappings.
I'm no photographer, but I do dig Tokyo at night.

Unfortunately, the Tokyo photos are a double. (See this page.) Plus, I'm not sure if the original photographer knows his photos are being used on this site like this.

Nice pix. I think its fairly obvious that the images are twiddled somehow, either HDR or something similar, but I don't think that detracts from them at all. A shame he didn't have the Gotham City looking tower that can be seen right outside Shinjuku station, I think it'd look fantastic shot that way.

Ya, one of the rare HDR-done-well galleries. Wading through the flickr HDR tag stream is nauseating nowadays.

The DNA Replication Mechanism is pretty cool.
re: the Muji Awards: of all the awards for this minimalist competition, ALL of them (about 1% of the entries) went to the Japanese entries. Not big on multi-culti are the Japanese, are they.
