The Grace Lee Project Inspired by the Jennifer 8. Lee post, here goes Grace Lee. She's a filmmaker who made a documentary about women named Grace Lee.
She was inspired by a MeFi post linking to an article by someone with the same last name as her?

I wish she'd do a follow-up on the lesbian activist Grace Lee in Korea.

I recently completed the fascinating Rhymer Rigby project. I called my dad and spoke to him for five minutes about our shared name. That was it.

My favorite moment in the trailer is the Grace Lee that says she and her brother were never told they were adopted; they just always knew it. The picture of her family is really hilarious.

See also Alan Berliner's The Sweetest Sound.
(Not the same guy as the Belgian filmmaker Alain Berliner, although Alain does show up in Alan's film.)

The trailer stops for me right after the Grace Lee that holds up voodoo dolls. What is the gag?

Photographer Linda Hansen in Denmark realized that her name is super common, so how on earth would she get her name known? Easy, she took portraits of all Linda Hansen's that she found and made both an exhibition at Galleri Asbæk and a book "Mit navn er Linda Hansen" of it. Danish source

I'm sure no one is reading this thread anymore, but Locative, the gag is that her family looks nothing like her. They are all white people. The picture itself and the way she says it is just funny.
