"Britain to install early warning bases in Oregon." These will be sited on US air bases in areas of protected wilderness, but will be leased out to the UK and solely answerable to HM Govt, with no state or Congressional accountability. If you protest outside, you'll be prosecuted on trumped-up charges. Oh, and they'll be tapping your phones and emails as well. (more inside...)

and how is that different from the pretty-much-same scenario of protesting outside one of the american bases in britain, a country with a hell of a lot more (publicly admitted at least) public surveillance and government bigbrotherhood than the US...

doesn't the US have similar outposts all over the place in places that aren't don't belong to them? i haven't read the linked site at all, but it does sound a little unbalanced to be angry about this.
