If anybody can explain either outcome of Bride of the Fox to me, I will be gratified and astonished. Completely baffling, and far too much work for far too little fox-bride payoff, in my opinion.

Fox was too small for his bride. Through magic the ninja becomes large fox. Fox joins bride. End.

To explain a bit more of Bride of Fox: in Japan, according to legend, foxes get married when it rains while the sun shines.
These are cute.

No, YOU have a Minoto game, Melissa May! You go right on ahead and have your little Minoto game! Do you ever call? Do you ever write? NO! You just go right on with your Melissa May Way and forget alla 'dems that made you so famous and stuff like!
Well, some of us, Melissa May, some of us will NOT be having your Minoto game! Not now - just when I thought I'd be fine without you. Just when I thought it was okay to go back to the outdoor market for tomatoes. Maybe a squash.
But now, NOOOOOOOOOOOOO - Melissa May is BACK! With a Minoto game.....
My heart, she is an empty squash, filled with Minoto and tomatoes. I...I will never learn.
