Left 4K Dead. Just you, in a dark corridor, with a torch, and a gun. And zombies. So many zombies.
While I get my browser up to speed to try it out, let me say that Left 4 Dead is awesome :)

You can still shoot once you've run out of ammo in your clip.

Much like the inspiration FPS - when you run out of ammo for your big gun (machine gun, shotgun, etc) you switch to infinite-ammo pistols.

Not if you're a goddam ninja with the pistols you don't.

Damn, found out the hard way that you can't melee the zombies off. Still fun though.

ach, this is great, reminds me of an indie FPS where you shoot blobs of black onto what seems initially a screen of flat colour to reveal depth, passages, obstacles...you eventually get outside and suddenly see a skyline, made out of a second flat colour, but you still can't navigate without shooting blobs of contrast. can't remember the name.

Cute but hard for this lefty to play; it' doesn't look like you can re-map the keys.

Which is such utter bullshit. Every time I go to the gun range, I patiently explain to the managers that I've run out of bullets for my AR and my shotgun, and would they please point me to the free and unlimited supply of handgun ammunition.
They just laugh at me and tell me I can't have it till I learn how to double jump.
Apparently it's on the roof or something.

NM, was mis-configure JRE. Maybe I'm playing it wrong, walked into a clickfest of infinite zombie death.

The green floored bits are outside, and have significantly more zombies in 'em. Run through those bits and head for buildings to rest and look for health and ammo.
It's a pretty limited game, but I like the torch mechanic.

This is a pretty cool game, and I especially liked the lighting scheme, but iunno. I just kind of got bored at about 2000 zombies.

If I had played this game 15 years ago, it would have melted my face. What a great show of programing. Thanks.

Looks cool, but the controls are annoying. It'd be nice if W always moved me forward instead of up.

Reminds me of Snipes, the ASCII-only DOS game I played when I was 11. Probably wasn't more than 4K either.

I'm so used to using arrow keys to move that it's a little hard for me to shift gears to WASD sometimes. Also, this might not be the best game for playing on a laptop. I enjoyed it, though.

I played for a while before I even realized I had a "big" gun. I was single shot clicking the entire time before this. Now it makes sense why I have to care about ammo.

A moderately fast clicking-finger makes the machine gun obsolete - especially considering the MG takes 2 shots to kill while the pistols only takes one.

I swear I've cleared a room three times and zombies keep popping up.

Imagine my confusion when I thought I was going to read about zombies but instead clicked on the link above this one. "Go grease up your friends" a thread about bacon. For a brief moment I had hope that someone had discovered a way to use all the excess flesh from the zombie revolution, but I guess not.
Fun game but too many buttons for me to click at once.

Watch out for the Gordon Ramsey zombie. He'll bite your face off, and then yell at you for how bad it tastes.

"Use WASD to move."
No. Not when there are perfectly good arrow keys. This is like instructing someone to eat with their feet despite the fact that they have perfectly good hands.
