I was wondering what happened. See, DSL isn't what it is cracked up to be. I've had more then one network admin/guru tell me that xDSL is in for problems and growing pains. Covad and Northpoint are the two providers, so it makes sense that they will eat a lot of heat.

This outage makes a strong argument for colocation. Everyone knows about the pricey colocation providers (Above.net, Exodus, etc.), but there are some cost effective ones too, like Explosive Networking.

Holy cow Rafe, that place is pretty darn cheap. I'm about to go in on a colocation deal that this place, and will be housing all my sites, including this one, there in the next month or so.
