Slaughterhouse 90210, where erudite literary quotes meet TV screencaps.

I don't see how cherry-picking quotes to comment on television is funny. Dostoevsky does not somehow increase my understanding of the relationship between judges on American Idol. It's ham-handed.
Maybe I'm taking it too seriously? Am I supposed to be imagining that the original character is saying the quote? I don't get it.

Well, to me the best ones are funny juxtapositions between two registers of art that I wouldn't expect to see side by side.
My one complaint is that I wish Maris Kreizman would identify the tv shows. I have no idea what this, this or this is from.

Never before have I come across something that managed to shine such a harsh light on the gaps in both my television and literary knowledge. Using this as a reading list.

Cool idea, this one I think works especially well. That character from SFU is very Franny-esque though and her expression is perfect.

Kattullus: the second of the unidentified is from Weeds. I can't place the others and agree with your complaint.

I am unhappy that I don't know what many of the quotes are from, but rather gratified that I can't identify most of the screen caps.

not_the_water: I don't think that the blog is slamming TV. It's more of a mash-up of two different forms, which may or may not be to your taste. I think it's more the stunning appropriateness of the quotes. The one Bizurke links to is kind of amazing and tragic.

I'm adjusting my previous statement when it works it stunningly appropriate, when it's being snarky its ripping on the brain dead megaphone which I'm all for, but understand how that could become tiresome.

The third is from Modern Family. No idea on the first, though for some reason it looks... 90210ish, or at least that era.

If you're asking that question about the content of something on Tumblr, the answer is "absolutely."

Only slightly embarrassed to know this, but that first one is Anna from The O.C.
