This is absolutely amazing. The best parts by far are the soundtrack and the cut scenes.

I wish I had to creative capacity to do something like this. Instead, I'll just consume and enjoy.

The fact that you want to is part of why it's so cool. The guy nailed the NES aesthetic so well that it seems like you should be able to play it.

I know eventually I'm gonna get sick of the 8-bit Everything thing, but right now it feels like a warm hug.

It might get tiresome as a gimmick, and like other period art, it will eventually yield to other things, but I'm not sure the aesthetic is ever going to be inherently annoying to me, not anymore than Romantic or Baroque music are.

Particularly when really well done. I wonder how long that took this guy.
