Gimme Mitsuda over Uematsu any day. Especially the arranged albums... the best thing about Xenogears is the existence of the Creid arranged album.

footnote for those not in the know: Nobuo Uematsu is the guy who composes music for the Final Fantasy series; Yasunori Mitsuda did the music for Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, and Xenogears, among other stuff.

The music from Xenogears was nothing short of spectacular. It almost makes me want to play the game again, and then I remember how it took me two hours to jump from a platform to a swinging chain (because I have no coordination)....
