Boogie 'til you puke/poop

Boogie 'til you puke: Mountain Climber Jason Kruk got his knee stuck in a 5.11 offwidth called "Boogie 'til You Puke," and required a rescue. Luckily, it was caught on video.
The videographer's blog has a lot of wonderful videos.

Offwidth: an offwidth is a crack which is basically an annoying width, but Annoywidth doesn't sound as good. An offwidth is too wide for a hand jam or a fist and too narrow to chimney, so usually requires a combination of wedging, squeezing, chicken winging and all other means necessary.

Worth sticking around for his post-climb comments, which were hilarious.

And that is why I avoid offwidths at all costs. They make you shit your pants.

On the one hand, he's made it a lot farther up a 5.11, while hungover, than I've ever made it while sober. So he's got that going for him.
On the other hand, of course, I've always gone home with clean underwear.

He's a better sport about it than I would have been.

Ha, sent that off to a friend of mine who used to do a lot of climbing. Can't wait to hear back from him.

Before climbing a route, one is often given some warning about the 'crux' move -- now you're going to have to make sure they're not talking about a 'Kruk's.'

It all started to run together after a minute or so.

I loved how hard the guy below him was laughing when he started to dry-heave. Cause that guy is the one who's going to get puked on. You know someone's having a pretty good time when they're laughing as someone is about to puke on them.

Not being a climber, I couldn't figure out the technique, but widefetish helped.

I was very confused as to why he was almost puking. Shitting his pants could be due to intense strain trying to free his knee, but puking? Then I remembered, "oh yeah, hangover..."

I *ahem* smell a new verb.
To kruk: to unload in one's pants during strenuous physical activity.
As in: Dude, I just krukked myself.

I think he was just scared. Fear can cause nausea. And given the fact that he was so scared that he actually shit himself... which is hilarious... I'm thinking that's a decent explanation.

Well, he certainly needs to work on his wide-crack technique.
