Fakeintosh - Have you ever wanted to run Mac OS 8 on your PC, but couldn't? Well now you can with this flash animation. I'm amazed at how detailed it is.
If you really want your pc to look like a Mac check out WinMac.

here we go again...
please. why call this out as a double post? yes, it has been posted before, but, according to the guidelines, an attribute of a good post is that it is one that most people have not seen.
a link from over a year ago qualifies.
flame me if you like, but there is no reason to call these out. who cares?

i have to agree with the recent rash of anti-douple post sentiments.... esp if the post if more than say 3-4 months old

Perhaps for some, looking for double posts is the only way they can contribute.

I think I'll throw gasoline on the fire by pointing out the double post debate going on in metatalk.

Actually, this doesn't seem to be Flash. It's done using DHTML.
How do I know this? Because "apparently" Mozilla doesn't support DHTML, so I can't view it.
Not that I need to see Mac OS 8 again... I thought we'd buried that thing :)

I think I am missing something... Tried it in Mozilla .9, Netscape 4.7, Opera, and Konqueror and it just keeps "deleteing" files off C:. I guess it doesn't like Linux or something.
That's ok, I just make KDE look like OSX.

It's not very much like MacOS 8, either. More like System 7 with the shareware Aaron extention.
