I don't know why but these cases remind me of I Come from San Francisco. *NSFW

Is it just me or does it look like it's making the face from The Scream in that top post there?

That is pretty cool for portable stereo reasons.

$250 for one of these isn't a bad deal at all.
Wouldn't that depend on the audio quality? If it sounded like a bunch of tacks, rattling around in a biscuit tin, then $250 would be total theft.
I might be wrong, but I've always thought that there was some science involved in speaker design -- and it involved more than just whacking a bunch of random speakers into any old enclosure?

What I want to know is where he's getting those great old suitcases. I want to get one of those and cover it with old-fashioned luggage labels.

Silvertone made a guitar case with a built-in amp. I think it's time for that idea to be revisited.

I am an audio-nut. So you can be assured I make each case produce the best sound possible. I shy away from plastic or thin suitcases because of their not so great acoustic qualities. Mainly I use cases that are built with wood and leather because of the superior sound they produce.More crazy audio stuff from Mr. Simo: Speaker necklace, from his I Am Simo Wordpress site, and the I Am Simo Etsy shop.
