THIS WHOLE DAMN COURT IS OUT OF ORDER!

Hooray for Phoenix Wright! This series is where I had to break down and realize I was exactly as big a gay dork as I always suspected, as I developed my first crushes on fictional characters. I mean Phoenix is okay, but Edgeworth? And don't get me started on Apollo Justice.

I think I'll stick with the classics.
But still, I wonder if you could fit the Treaty of Westphalia into that thing. . . .

.....I saw someone do a spoof of this meme featuring a caricature of Sam Waterson as Jack McCoy.
I kid you not, I honestly thought I was going to see a "Law and Order" page when I clicked on the "where it all comes from" link.

Favorited (ShawnStruck's above) for not just skating by with "You lose!" but doing the whole preamble. Win.

How I originally found the Phoenix Wright meme -- someone making a video of The Frantics' Boot to the Head sketch. Works really well.

That's it exactly. Someone at another site I frequent uses it as their user avatar.

My kid does that to me all the time in real life. I'll be saying something parental and annoying and he points his finger at me and Objection! If I show him this, I will be constantly Phoenix-rolled.

Know Your Meme says the original Flash animation was posted to newgrounds on July 29, 2006. So not quite five years, but it's definitely been around for a while in one form or another.

God I love the Ace Attorney games.
I just wish I could bring myself to pick up Investigations and actually finish it. It's been sitting there, halfway through the third case, for about 6 months. And I just don't have the urge to go further. Has anyone finished it? Does it finish strong? Should I just damn the torpedoes and lunge back in?
I think part of the problem is I miss the courtroom sequences more than I thought I would.

I finished and enjoyed Investigations, but I've played through all the Ace Attourney games (at least, as far as what's been released in the US), so they get a little muddled in my head. If I remember correctly, the fourth and fifth cases were pretty interesting -- some kind of complicated international incident that ties the rest of the game together. Though I don't recall if there are any debates about the difference between ladders and step-ladders.
