The End of Warner Bros. The End of Metro Goldwyn Mayer.
More studios coming soon. In the meantime, why not head back to the beginning and browse by year or genre (to see larger versions of the screenshots, click the small "S" or "T" beneath the picture).

Vaguely related: Forget the Film, Watch the Titles, and I could have sworn there was another post on title cards, with a similar format to this one.

I kind of feel that Torchy Blane, The Adventurous Blond should have a more dramatic end card.

I don't recall seeing a "The End" card for any recent pictures. Screenwriting is so bad now, films don't end, they just peter out.

Gorgeous stuff! Particularly interesting is the almost dissolving upper case E and then just as it becomes almost unreadable, it pulls back in to a tight, structured form, only to repeat the process in later decades.

I recognized a couple of the ending credits from often-watched movies like The Adventures of Robin Hood, My Fair Lady and Casablanca.
It was interesting to go through and see how much you could tell about the genre of the film through the visual language of the fonts and backgrounds. Made a nice guessing game.
If I ever write my screenplay, I'll make sure to try and include an ending card. For the typography geeks of later generations.
