I just heard from a local employee of Adecco corporation that the staffers of the South American office, in the South Tower, were all reported to be okay. Similarly, it was reported this morning that the staffers of Boomer Esiason's charitable foundation, which was on the 101st floor of the North Tower (I think) had not yet reported to work. That's more than 50 people, so for that we can be thankful.

Oh, by the way, thanks to dagny for the roster, I was thinking about that all night actually. Also, for all those letting us know who is okay. Looking at the roster I was very much reminded how the World Trade Center really was a global community and not just an American one.

Good point, memorydream. So many seem to not realize or are willfully ignoring that the attacks were just as much against American Muslims as they were against all other Americans, regardless of race or religious affiliation.

That was an excellent point memorydream and thanks to Dagny for the post. Perhaps one of the Brit papers had it best when they put up the headline, "Attack on the World".

Is is me or do the many followers of Islam and those who consider themselves to be Muslim affiliated seem like they're all at war with each other too, at this time?

Also, on internal Islamic strife, I have a very difficult time not fearing for Islamic friends in this nation and in all occupied allied countries at this time. For now they have not just those who say they are Muslims trying to destroy them, for not going along with what they believe, but many more now who wish them gone, as well.

I expect many like me are constantly frustrated as to how the actions of these few are taken to reflect how our religion works.. I think in the world there are 73 different 'sects' of Islam, Shi'ite, sufism etc etc - however, they are not distinguished as catholic, protestants etc are, but considered under the blanket term of Islam..
Thnx for the post btw dagny

This simple list of company names and employee numbers is the most chilling thing I've seen in the aftermath. Because as I'm scrolling down it, my mind is seeing the towers collapse in the same way.

73 dirrerent sects! Wow, I new there were quite a few from my own interactions, but I never knew there were that many sects. I find I am very disgusted with myself that I had very little idea of that and near to nothing of the knowledge of those individual peoples, thank you for the that vital bit of info Mossy.

The Post is running the list (as a graphic, unfortunately) with an included column for floor numbers.
