Who else thinks we could use some of these now.
Seems a shame they're not quite ready to help with this disaster.

Wasn't there a similar thing in the movie The Fifth Element. I have a picture in my head of Tricky playing with a remote-controlled roach with a camera on its back...

You know, I know it's just a bug. But damn, that's pretty creepy.

Kinda' leads to a John-Malkovitchian existence for the roach, doesn't it? The roach wants to do one thing, but the controller another. Very creepy.

That type of roach technology was mentioned briefly in The Cockroach Papers, a book I recommend checking out of your local library. Gives some interesting insight on the roach and how society treats it.

That is the coolest thing I've seen in a really long time. I've gotta get a whole troop of those critters to help out with this favorite activity.

this quote is just... odd.
"They are a little bit smelly, and there's something about the way they move their antennae. But they look nicer when you put a little circuit on their backs and remove their wings." "

It just *seems* wrong to me. I used to torture insects when I was 8 years old... Who'd have thought you could grow up and do it as a profession?
