Maybe John McCain will get elected president after all, even though he's 'not running anymore'...
<sigh>
People bitched that they couldn't read the URLs. I said "that's a perfectly reasonable complaint". David Adams came up with the solution, *right out in public*. I said "Thanks, David; I'll do that*.
If it bugs you, *don't click on the fucking links*, ok?
Are we done with this, now?
If you don't think it's a big deal, why are you accusing me of being 'creepy'?

I don't like your links because your sever is slow from my connection (college ethernet, so it's not on my end). So I have to connect to greenspun.com first, which takes a while, and only then am I finally taken to my destination.
Really, who cares about how many people click the links?

I do.
But the trip through greenspun.com shouldn't take any time at all; that server lives on the MIT 100Mbps FDDI link, and it's triple homed with, like, T-3's on all three links.

Just wanted to comment on McCain's doublespeak. I think it is strange how McCain vocally defended his use of the term "Gook" (racist slur against asians, particularly Vietnamese) prior and during primaries in the south including South Carolina, then apologized for the comments prior to the primary in Cailfornia, a state with many Asians. I think he is a disingenuous liar, and he's still trying to paint himself as a hero.

i know there was already a discussion on this topic, and maybe this is a comment for metatalk. i don't think it's a big deal, but it still seems kind of icky to me.
