All pistachio nuts should come shelled. Every time I have a few, I break another thumb... Remember Larry's King's hilariously banal blatherings in his USAToday column? How effortlessly mockable it was? How he finally got shitcanned last fall? Well, he's back. Giveaway that King himself supervised the web presentation: how you have to hit "next" to see each individual, um...thought?...insight?...nugget? Like they're so substantial.

My favorite:

He's been described as the "Muhammad Ali of the broadcast interview"

I liked his radio show back in the 80's and 90's (?) .. memory is kind of blurry. He sucks on TV.

Don't knock the interface. As far as scripts go, JavaScript is becoming one of my favorites . . . If I had to choose between "Previous/ Next" and "Back/ Forward," I'd pick "Previous/ Next" every day of the week and twice on Sunday . . .

Why do you have to choose between those two options? Making you click the mouse repeatedly to see each of King's brain farts is hilariously bad design.

I don't know why they call them "pants," because they are only one thing and I don't breathe hard anyway . . . What's up with boils? They sure make me boil . . . Am I the only one to notice that "Chandra Levy" anagrams to "Cravenly Had"? For shame, Mr. Condit . . . You aren't eating enough cabbage! . . . Puppies! Puppies! Puppies! . . . If you see one movie this year, can you tell me about it? I forget them immediately . . .

"Spider-Man" is a super movie with loads of gimmicks and great fun for the whole family. The special effects are sensational

How utterly uninteresting and obvious.

I can't believe off-handed and unwitty snippets of his conversations are being given the royal treatement like this. I wish he had said the things you've listed there, Skot.

1. If he runs, Perfect Drift could win the Belmont Stakes on June 8.

If he does the conga, he's unlikely to do better than fourth. But the crowd would be hugely entertained.
