The scariest costumes this year represent those that crushed the dreams of many, bilked millions from strangers, and got away. Psycho Killers? Crazed Snipers? No, Forbes gives you: CEO Halloween masks. I know the kids will love going as Martha. It's a good thing.
Without the eyeballs where you are supposed to cut, they look like demons or something. I've heard Martha actually is a popular constume this year. The kid makes something, and then goes door to door, and after they get their candy, they tell the person how they made it, and how it's a good thing.
I've never understood those coverall costumes when I was a kid. "Why does it say Spiderman on the front with a picture of Spiderman? Spiderman's costume doesn't say Spiderman or have a picture of himself on it."

Yeah, a vinyl smock of Ken Lay in a superhero pose, with "KEN LAY" glowing behind him would really complete the look.

Oh, my. As a WorldCom employee, I must say that Bernie Ebbers mask is just too much. Combine that with some of the corporate-logo-emblazed pelf I've gotten over the years, and I think I've just gotten my Halloween costume finalized.
Even if the kids at the door don't recognize me, I'm pretty sure the adults will get a good laugh out of it. If I can find some of those stock certificates we used to give out I can even offer them pieces of worthless paper to go along with their candy!
One can hope so, at least.

How about a Chachi costume that says "Chachi"?

The Kozlowski mask should be worn with a $6,000 shower curtain.

Here's a good selection of coveralls that I think would coordinate nicely with those masks.

Ty Webb - thanks for that link. Even more disturbing than Chachi wearing a shirt with his name on it is "Flipper" - he doesn't wear a shirt! What did they, brand him with a hot iron - with his own name and likeness??? I dunno if that's cruel irony or ironic cruelty.
Come to think of it, I guess it's iron-ic irony.

L. Dennis Kozlowski, Former Tyco CEO is scarry. After I printed Martha out, I realize how pumpkin headed she is.

As a former employee of Enron, I'd be tickled to know where Jeff Skilling's mask is. Please remember, Lay may have been a cancerous presence, but his benign neglect stands in stark contrast to the beating malignant center that was Skilling. Pardon the analogy.

But the problem if kids wear these trick-or-treating is that the people opening the door won't get who they're supposed to be. Forbes should have supplied - much as I hated this phenomenon as a kid - those matching flame-retardant coverall costumes that say who the character is as well as including an additional picture of the character on them.
