For those who like to watch carcrashes but don't want to patronize that site with the vulgar name, The Standard maintains Dot Com Flop Tracker, Dot Com Layoff Tracker, and Dot Com Ex-Exec Tracker.
You mean Fucked Company? I'll never understand people who have a hangup about profanity ...

i can't get too excited over the name or any other profanity.imagine you are a credit officer at a large american lending institution and you want to keep tabs on the dotcoms of the world. in the 'big brother' environment of large corporate web access, you'd be risking your access priviledges and/or your career if you surfed to and book marked fucked company. the porn filters the IT snoops installed on the firewall would catch and report you and you would have one of those all too uncomfortable meetings with the boss.
sadly this is the situation in north america. true independant thought is lauded and promoted but rarely tolerated. although, dot com flop tracker lacks all of the market appeal of fuckedcompany.com. i had to scroll up the post to remember the name. never gonna have that problem with FC now am i?

I actually had no idea what Steven was talking about. Fucked is vulgar? I think we're pretty much to the point where fuck is about as offensive and vulgar as suck, or crap. And progress moves along...

My reason for thinking people would want to avoid that other site had nothing to do with the vulgarity of the name, but rather due to the complaints I've read here about the low quality of the posts on that site.

There is a difference between a rumor and a reported fact. Any site with the name fucked company probably isnt going to be too keen on fact checking.
