Can someone please tell me why X10.com has such warm and fuzzy 'family' style pages to describe their wireless camera, but their ads look like they are promoting cameras for the sole purpose of catching beautiful women on screen? Are they promoting hidden cameras in bathrooms, changing stalls, and other privacy-robbing public places? Why the descrepency between their advertising and their site?
ZDNN covered this story in December: X10's latest XCam hits the Net. The only thing missing from the ad in the ZDNN story are some OS GUI form elements to boost their click throughs...

The clickthrough rates are high for those ads? God, aren't we all just a bunch of sex-depraved deviants! :)
I don't buy the X10 president's claim that the cameras weren't meant for illicit use, when their own ads suggest otherwise. I see their ads and I think "How is the average home user going to get a busty woman on their wireless camera?" Hiding it in weird places?
