Ladies and gentlemen, the funniest comedian in my lifetime, or anybody's lifetime. He's a genius.

Nom nom nom nom nom. God I love that blue monster!

Cookie Monster is far too much a creature of the id to be a solid life coach. I don't know that any of the muppets either out on the 'Street or on the 'Show come anywhere near sagacity. The only ones with insight are perpetually under six and are equally likely to observe that pasta is like worms. Oscar is probably shrewd but too much of a misanthrope and I think the rest of them would just blow well-intentioned sunshine up your ass.

Prarie Dawn might be your one stand-out.

When life gets you down, look around for the yummy cookies. There's a real life lesson in there.

I was considering founding a sect of the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster to be called Buscuitarianism. It would have one commandment: "C is for cookie and that's good enough for me."

But then I realized that goal was at odds with my mission.

I heard that as soon as the cameras were off, he busted out the e-meters and started selling them on $500-a-pop "classes."

"C also for creativity, and it obvious you creativity BLOCKED! That right...want to know why? It because of UPSET in life.

"I want to ask you question...You ever read Hubbard? No? That too bad. Him greatest moral philosopher EVER! Him developed amazing technology that me want share with you..."

Also, have you seen Shower Thoughts with Cookie Monster? Mashable is pulling a buzzfeed and spending some time and money making useful/funny stuff alongside all the pilfered (errr, "curated") work of others.

Cookie Monster has also been posting "unboxing videos" where he unboxes such things as a lunch box and a banana.

I'm really struggling here because while I love Cookie Monster, anyone other than Frank Oz voicing him is just an imposter.

Time passes, Sweetie Darling. I think Cookie's voice is a lot closer to the original than most, though, partly because it's not really hard to do. (Approximately three garage metal bands do it a day, in fact.)

Agreed. For example, I only eat cookies while awake.
