Lotta pinniped in them pears.

Bananas too! All snorting and neck slapping...

Why? Why did they make this? Why can’t I stop thinking about it? Why is it so... jiggly?

Those bananas are disturbingly plausible.

I will never eat another pear. Ever.

The watermelons were surprising and cute.

Alternately creepy and adorable. Thanks, cortex!

I thought that the fruit would be walking or something, not shagging. Can we get an NSFW tag?

(Mainly joking)

It wasn’t so much the movement but the sounds that made me uncomfortable.

This was so great. I’m not sure I have recovered from the pears yet.

I feel sort of bad for the raspberries. Obviously they weren't meant for locomotion. But yet, it's their motion that is spreading their seeds more widely. It's like sex by suicide.

I like this! they're so squishy.

How would someone create the jiggle and flexion on the bananas and pears? Have we reached that point in CGI that I just couldn't tell?

Oh, man, I was desperate for more but all the other videos are ad stuff. I loved this. I think the nanners are walruses, the raspberries are chimpanzees, and the poor startled watermelon is some kind of bird. The pears I can't quite get. Pigs? Grapes definitely guinea pigs. Then they had Foley art for the movement noise. This may be humanity's crowning achievement. The editing on it, particularly the melons... chef's kiss.

The pears I can't quite get.

My guess is elephant seals.

This is delightful. I'm wondering what my sack of juice oranges sound like. But, as cute as the watermelon finish was, I expected more of an elephant trumpet sound, move over/rumble type.
posted by winesong at 10:40 AM on January 31, 2020

Nope, not elephant seals. The pears are hippos!
