Did you know than animals eating strawberries look terrifying? The line between cute and gruesome is surprisingly thin.

We gave our hamster strawberries once. He hide them in his bed and was distinctly pink when he emerged the next day.

Also if you let rats eat tomato soup they look like tiny murderers.

Every spring on the farm in WV turtles would come through eating wild strawberries. They were like the cutest, slowest, Pac-Mans. My sister and I would occasionally grab one and befriend it for the day. We even named them (Thomas the turtle) and painted an initial in nail polish on the shell. Turns out the same ones came back every year.

Thanks for this. Both of my bunnies are black and I don’t get the same effect when they eat strawberries.
