Martial arts star Jackie Chan is reportedly set to team up with Hollywood hardman Sylvester Stallone for a fourth Rambo movie. The Kung Fu expert will play a crime lord, who eventually teams up with Rambo - played by Stallone - in the action adventure. Originally, studio bosses wanted Chan's character to be a multi- millionaire drug baron, but the star told them he would not appear in the film as a narcotics dealer. He says, "I had reservations about playing such a character, as it would set a bad example to the kids." After his decision, producers ordered an immediate re-write to tone down his character's evil ways.I don't know who Sly gave head to in Hollywood, but he's getting back in there. I was actually thinking about this about a day befoure, when you talk about tacky-end carreers, you'd think Stalone, sure there was Rocky, but then we were punished the 5 of them. Whatever. Now, his 2nd most memorable role is Rambo, the cultural figure of 80's machoism, the worst thing is. Yet, today, it'll get a big turn-out, I know I'll go to see it. One thing though, I'll totally hate it if it'll become this modernized version of the lame action, what I hope they'll do is set it in the 80's and still have the music, clothing, cars, whatever the same.

Um, tiaka, thanks for the summary, but where's the link? Your link just points back here.

Since there's not a link to the real article yet, here's a link that shows Stallone in a much more publicly appealing role than his last 500 acting roles have been.

I hope the first person "Stallone-as-Rambo" shoots will be his agent.
