Seems like a cool idea, but I'm not about to give my cellphone number out to a random website.

Non-Specific location Haiku:

You're finally here
It sure took you long enough
Get to work or you're fired

Seems like a cool idea, if your location is in Ontario (which the site stipulates as a requirement) and you want to give your phone number out to, like, whoever, and you'd actually pay any sort of text messaging charge to receive this, uh, poetry.

Yeah, very cool idea.

Also... why is this here?

Oh, and one more reason it's a cool idea: many of the poems leave off the letter E at the ends of words. Very cool.

... Maybe you're not sarcastically latching onto my phrasing as a deliberate attempt to be rude, but yes. That is what I said. I like the concept of user specific randomly generated haikus, but distrust this implementation.

They have a Twitter with some example haikus:
"Fall night, Dixie & dundas, mississauga" -- in shutterd buildngs / frisky opossums look up / smell frm restaurants
I guess the missing Es and stuff like "frm" saves characters when texting.

Whoa, I am clearly being oversensitive. I'm sorry, flapjax, haikus apparently bring out the worse in me.

Leave it to nickyskye to find something positive. I've said it before and I'll say it again: you're a ray of light!

Hm, nothing clever at Church & Carleton I see. Someone want to text in a location in "boy's town" and see how specific they get?

Perhaps the address of a Japanese restauraunt and see if they send back an actual Japanese haiku.
