Damn, put that down to a combination of dyslexia, auto-correct and over excitement due to gun pr0n

Tybalt's Rapier 9mm was the best and you know it. Extended barrel w/comp and detachable C-More reflex collimator sight and Mary and the Baby J on the grip. Beautiful.

Although actually, now I think about it, the paired gold Springfield 1911s that Castor Troy had in Face/Off were pretty fucking sweet. I could do this all day though.

So many memories. I guess I'm a bad person to get as much entertainment out of these movies as I do, though for gunporn, it's hard to beat the Japanese. Nary a trace of a redeming quality there!

Definitely more "bullets / people getting shot" fetish than gun fetish. The end of Taxi Driver is an example of the former, whereas the "traveling salesman" scene is the epitome of the latter.

Always fun to see shared origins between established directors and mere film geeks, though.

Every time I see Miguel Ferrer in Robocop clips I get excited because I think it's Twin Peaks.

I could do this all day though.

If we're talking favorites (and I have too many to count, but one that always stands out) is Angelina Jolie's custom 1911 from Wanted. If only for the scene in the convenience store where you can see the tattoos on her forearm flow into the engraving on the grip and slide.

But I'm a sucker for any custom 1911 and regardless of how many I've seen before it, whatever one I'm looking at currently will always be my favorite. (until the next one)

I'd like to use Kurtwood Smith's appearance in Robocop as a reason to get excited about "That '70s Show" but that would be a lie. There is no reason to ever be excited about "That '70s Show".

Then there's this part of an old barely remembered movie that REALLY puts the porn in gun porn, starting around the 2 minute mark. got the whole train/Fellini thing going on and all

Every time I see Kurtwood Smith in Robocop, I like to imagine that it's just the grim future of That 70's Show.

"Bitches, leave.
(...)
And Eric, if all this debris and exploded Ferrer bits isn't cleaned up by noon, you can kiss goodbye any chance of getting the car keys. Dumbass."

Montague is a French surname meaning 'mountain'. This is a montage. A neat one.

I like "montague" as a collective noun for a group of gun scenes.

I just wish the Q&A with him in Sydney wasn't sold out and I had money to see him at the Melbourne Supanova.
