It's getting to where I don't understand things anymore.

Aidan Gillen's presence makes me want to make a Game of Thrones/The Wire crossover.

meh

here's one more for you.

I dunno, it's just a bit too much for me. I love both of the things, but together, it's just... I dunno.

Arrested Development is/was awesome, Game of Thrones is pretty fucking cool.

The mixing? Decidedly meh.

Prove me wrong!

And that's why you always leave a note.

I’m not following any of this (or trying very hard), I just went looking for the promised NSFW screenshots and quickly realized it was not going to work out.

Somehow endlessly amusing. Probably because I'm really annoyed itll be another YEAR before we see new GOTs.

This might be funny in a world where hipster Rickon didn't exist.

Guys, the current glut of ASOIAF-related Metafilter posts could make it seriously difficult to start a Dance With Dragons open thread under the guise of the subject's newsworthiness when it releases next month.

that's the plan, drats.

With all the Sturm und Drang about spoilers here of late, I think a thread on ADWD will go much better on the MetaCooler

GoT + Texts from Last Night = Texts from Westeros (NSFW)
posted by ChurchHatesTucker at 10:23 AM on June 24, 2011 [1 favorite]

I think when Dance comes out I'm disconnecting myself from the internet until I've finished reading it.

Of course, with my eyes and hands occupied reading it non-stop, that shouldn't be difficult.

I'd rather see a collection of all the best GoT tumblrs. (The texts from last night one is pretty good.)

Also, has anyone else posted Game of Thrones of Muppets yet?

@HoatVargo is still available.
Thanks so much for all these links, it's great to see a franchise develop with such an outpouring of goodwill and creativity.

If I were more proactive I would make a Hodor twitter account whose tweets would all be variants of "Hodor hodor hodor!".
