The incidental sound is excellent, I would buy and listen to a CD of rustling jangling and creaking like that.

just to be clear with everyone, i think the original version of the movie doesn't include the voice-over (or the subtitles), so the first viewing should maybe ignore them?

Very nice. Just the right length. I also would probably prefer it without the commentary/subtitles.
