Wrecking Crew Orchestra (original Japanese site) are a young dance crew from Japan. Last week, they put on a light-synchronized performance in electroluminescent suits that has to be seen to be believed.
It's 21st Century Bunraku!!! Mama!!!
Fuck that was great.

That is one of the coolest things I've ever seen. Something primordial and also totally futuristic at the same time. Electro Aboriginal!
So cool when the red masked guy turned up and the electro hands thing above his head.
How they did it video.
Apparently, they also go by the name Team iLuminate.

I believed it before I saw it!
Anyway, now that I have seen it: that was great!

Wow, that was fantastic. My favorite part was about halfway through, when that man in a gorilla suit dribbled a basketball behind the group of dancers.
Also, am I mistaken, or didn't they do something similar on a season of So You Think You Can Dance, in one of the results show's "guest dancers" performances?

I don't think these groups are the same people. I could be wrong. They're are both very good though.

Almost certainly the same group behind this recent Docomo (cell phone company) commercial.

That was very cool, but I feel like it is really only brushing the surface of what you could do with that sort of set up. I'm looking forward to seeing them push the envelope.

This reminds me of the Black Light theater show we saw in Prague.

It reminds me of when I saw The Prague Black Light Theater Company in San Francisco. Except with better music & dancing.

I'm sure I saw the same concept a couple of weeks ago. I thought it was an American crew, but it has to be the same one.
At 3:38 though, don't you think the guy's suit was supposed to turn off before he casually went to stand behing the shaman character?

Then, it finished and I had a big smile.
I'm still smiling.
Great use of young.
