As someone who is terrified of heights and who can see the top of the David Whitney building from out my window right now, this is awesomely horrifying on several levels. Thanks.

It would be neat if he'd worn different shoes for each shot.

I think I may have seen this guy. When Bonehead and I were in Ireland, we went out to Inishmore on the ferry for the day. Of course, we went up to Dun Aonghasa, as you do. The fort doesn't just hang off the cliff, one whole "wall" of it is open air, with the cliff right there, and a precipitous drop to the sea below. You can walk right up to the edge.
Which is what this one tourist dude did. Walked right up and stood on the cliff, with his toes hanging off the edge. Then he turned around and stood with his heels hanging off the edge, while his poor wife and child freaked out at a safe distance from the cliff.
I imagine he slept on the couch for a while when they got home.

Fucking awesome. I get that gaspy-sweaty palmed-prostate dropping-stomach churning-throat constricting fear of heights just looking at the photos. The ones where his legs dangle off the edge of buildings are particularly frightening and cool
I hope he does not get hurt taking these photos.

DON'T JUMP TREY RATCLIFF!! THERE'S MORE HDR TO BE CONQUERED!!
I kid, I kid. I love this concept. Although if I were suicidal, well... maybe not.

Beautiful. Though I also couldn't do more than three! Heart pounding, stomach churning.

What's the big deal, it's just an old pair on Nike sneakers -- why is this guy so obsessed with his shoes?

My most common panic-inducing recurring dream is of being in places like this.

Here's another well-done shot of a similar style from Russia.
