Excellent. I particularly enjoyed how my own reaction to the "nailed it" vid transitioned smoothly from "Sweet move, bro." to "Sweet comeuppance for attempting that sweet move, bro."

Skate 3 is a great game; excellent physics simulation (for skating, nothing else) and chill gameplay. It has various game modes that encourage ugly wipeouts, like the Hall of Meat mode. Note the x-ray graphics showing what bones are broken.

Skate 3 has the best bugs ever. All the frustration felt by people who just wanted to play the game is easily justified by the million people who got to enjoy compilation 1.
The bugs may be game breaking but they are life enhancing, or something. From the perspective of human existence they are definitely features.

His 50 best tricks compilation is pretty hilarious.
Some of this is just fucking around with physics bugs, but a lot of this is impeccable comedic timing. These videos are really really funny.

I love the Skate series and have dumped hundreds of hours into the three games. Nothing like doing a kickflip to frontside darkslide down a 70-stair handrail in Skate 3.
The megaramp complex in Skate II is the greatest thing I've stumbled upon.

Never played skate, but I played so much Tony Haw Pro Skater I am pretty certain if I had access to a scateboard and a half pipe I could do a 900. How hard could it be. After all, I pretty much learned how to snowboard from SSX Tricky and that turned out ok.

Not only is that compilation really funny (even to someone who doesn't care about skateboarding or video games), but the soundtrack of computer-generated ambient noises could be some really pretty good avant-garde musique concrete. I might just rip the audio and submit it to a festival.

I disagree, I think Helix Snake is excellent at Skate 3. Just not at playing Skate 3 the way the designers intended it.

I was just crying from laughing so hard. I watched all four of the compilations. Thank you so much for this gift.

That compilation is perfect. I would watch the hell out of a feature-length machinima adding a bit of narrative to this poor immortal skateboarder's surrealistic attempt to make is way in a world where the laws of physics and causality can no longer be trusted.

The compilation was beautiful. If the Matrix was ever remade as a slapstick comedy, it would look like that.
my favorite moment was falling through the ground only to hit a concrete barrier somehow floating in the null space. That's a great existential metaphor or something.

Like several other here, I have never played this game and don't skateboard, but damn if that's not some of the funniest stuff I've seen this year.

Amazing HelixSnake works in a slapstick mode, favouring perfect timing. wAYmOBY uses a more surrealist bent, exploring the null spaces between game environments.
