And, in this corner, weighing in at 8 lbs... PUPPY!

Less than a day away from one of the most significant political battles of this century, it is critical that we not lose sight of that physical and mental conflict entered into on a daily basis in homes across this country. It is difficult to understand why we've intentionally designed our environment in a manner that enrages, terrifies, and taunts our most loved little ones, but we have.....and, alone, they confront it with bravery and determination.
How DARE YOU hold the American Electorate hostage to such....puppy whimsy!
This SQUEE WILL. NOT. STAND!

I demand a cat video for balance.
People whining that rats or snakes or whatever the fuck aren't represented should STFU though. Just get a cat already, do you want dogs to win?

ok, is it possible that that dog is smart enough to intentionally miss that door-boinger because he knows it's cute? otherwise inexplicable.

Its symbolic. The doorstop is Rupert Murdoch. The puppy is the world. No matter how hard we fight, he just sticks to the wall and says BOING.

lol, HuronBob, two birds with one stone? I admire it. Many things went through my mind before I clicked through to the post and it's thread, including the many children that were recorded by their parents (or whoever) talking about the presidential election. There are others, but I can't remember nor link them, and not even going to try to track down pictures of sobbing or smiling children held up by the two major candidates. Hell, though I'm clearly an adult I count myself among the children, one of the sobbing ones, being that I've argued repeatedly with my own parents about this presidential election and the ballot measures that come with it.
Anyway. After clicking the link, I immediately thought of a comment in the Jackson-the-dog post, which turned out to be your comment! So in spirit of the post, I thought of the dog that I will soon be adopting, the sweetest dog I've ever met. I even got to live with her for a short time. Her current owner cannot take her because the next state they're moving to is hostile towards pitbulls. I don't have any pet stories yet, but I hope to have some soon. Hopefully I'll be spending most of the next four years and more with her. Despite my own doubts about the election, I'm a bit more cheered by the comical and cute framing of this post; thanks! (: Like the puppy, small and handling the doorstop like a hot potato which is kinda like how I handle life, I will be brave and determined.
louche mustachio: awesome counterpoint! Aww, Boo, 'sokay! Ofc, the video title reminds me of hypothetical 3am phone calls or summat. (...Sorry.)

See, some people think cats are dumb or inferior because "you can't teach them tricks!"
Those people have never had cats.
Cats learn tricks. They just don't learn your tricks.
