Patrick Farley of Electric Sheep Comix (previously, 2 , 3, 4, 5) has a new series featuring a young Steve Wozniak and a young Steve Jobs: Steve & Steve
I hope he manages to finish this one.

I like how Woz isn't smoking the weed. He wants to keep his intellectual LSD experience pure.

I think this comic is fabulous and I'll watch for more. I didn't know anything about Jobs and Woz until 1984 and found their mugs hidden within some fonts on my Mac but, Lordy, sometimes I miss the seventies. Those were my bookstore years and I had interesting clientele--didn't have to experiment with drugs myself, I heard many fantastic stories from the people who passed through my door.

Apocamon got killed by the DMCA takedown from the Pokemon people.

While this is very hilarious I am kind of wondering where Farley is planning to go with this considering that Woz is still alive.

I was going to quote something I once wrote on usenet, but it seems Google has managed to fuck up what was once Dejanews badly enough that that isn't possible nay more.

I like this, but the renderings remind me too much of the animated Drinky Crow and not in a good way.

You sure? The original episodes are still online. (IIRC they were gone for a while, but they've been back for years.)

Steve Jobs calling Arthur C. Clarke a spiritual degenerate is hilarious.

asterix, it wasn't so much that they demanded Farley take down the strip, although I think he did for awhile and finally decided to ignore it, but they also demanded that cafepress take down all his Apocamon swag.

I was hooked by the fonts, but stayed for the writing. Great stuff!

Ah, so that's why I could never replace my Apocamon Mug. Stupid DMCA (and gravity) ruining everything.
