Blocked in the USA for copyright reasons.

I'm in the US and it played for me. The comments suggest that it may just be blocked for mobile access in the US, but I have not tried that.

And the video is fun - that's an amazing spider and one that I had not heard of before.

Works in Canada on laptop. Love it.

Doesn't work for me in the US on an iPad. It appears to be a freakishly colored spider waving its limbs about and shaking its ass. I know that wasn't what you meant to link to, so maybe contact he mods to fix your link.

...I so love the weird mating dances some animals do. This is right up there with the displays put on by some bird of paradise species.

I'm generally going to click on maybe 1 in 10 youtube links I see on the blue. This one made me snicker, though.

To the tune of "YMCA". That's the one.

More like "It's fun to stay at the Y-Y-Y-Y". Do not let this spider teach you how to spell.

Awwwww... very cute. Just like the Village People. Except for the part about getting eaten after the dance.

Eaten out maybe.

Yeah. Those spiders are pretty kinky. Always doin' 88.

If this doesn't make you think that spiders can be cute, I don't know how to help you.

Spiders and the Village People: two of my favourite things!  :)

My cat was fascinated. I think he has a secret afficion for 70s gay culture. And, possibly, spiders.

The Village People have the power to yup a nope.

I approached this with extreme caution because pictures of spiders give me the willies, but this little guy is super cute! He needs to stay the fuck out of my house though, because I would take a shoe to his fancy little candy-colored ass in a heartbeat if I were to happen across him shaking it in my bathroom.

The original is much better.

The original is pretty awesome. Along with the guy's other videos.

But macro photos of spider faces are always going to be the stuff of nightmares. Regardless of the vibrant hindquarters.

Do not let this spider teach you how to spell.

On the contrary, there is no better way to learn semaphore.

I howled with laughter during the video — such cute li'l fellas! — which was only enhanced by Pirate-Bartender-Zombie-Monkey's intoned chant of "Wrong, wrong, wrong like a wrongety wrong thing filled with wrongness…"

PBZM, who refuses to enter this thread and has only experienced it second-hand as I've read comments aloud to him (often interrupted as I fell into snorts of laughter), says "COSIGN!"

This explains everything.

A former Village Person was recently insistent that "Y.M.C.A." is most definitively not a gay anthem (the current Village Persons beg to differ), so it makes sense now. It's clearly a spider anthem, so throw your pedipalps in the air and wave 'em like you just don't care!

[Proper not caring technique illustrated here by my field correspondent, Justin.]
